MERRY CHRISTMAS AGAIN

Well Merry Christmas everyone! What an eventful weekend it has been. We got the puppy late on Christmas eve and boy what a live wire our new pup is! It had barely been in the house for five minutes before it pooed and wee'd all over. But it's just oh so cute. Joe (Damien's brother) spent the evening at our place and helped us put Nathan's new bike together and we put all the presents out under the tree. Damien went to midnight mass so by the time we went to bed it was after 1am. We were prepared for the kids to wake us up at 4am in the morning but they only woke up at 7am! Wow what a Christmas treat that was.

The kids couldn't wait to go downstairs and it was so much fun watching them rip the paper off the presents. We finally gave them each their last present (dog food wrapped up!). Dominic guessed straight away that it must be a dog and we told them to go look in the conservatory. The first thing Dominic noticed was that there was poo on the floor. Then the pup appeared and the boys were delighted. Nathan followed the dog around for ages clapping his hands. Dominic was a bit more cautious. He was bitten as a child and has had a VERY healthy fear of dogs since then. After much deliberation the name Jock was decided. So our new puppy is called Jock and he is keeping us very busy.

Jock is a bit over friendly and has a mean little nip on him. Dominic is getting braver every day but still won't get off the couch if the dog is around. Nathan has been nipped a few times but makes sure he get's his revenge either pulling the poor dog's tail or chasing after him with a book! I'm sure in time once the puppy has leant not to bite, Dominic will get even more confident.

Boxing day was a lazy day for us. Took the kids to the park so Nathan could try out his new bike! Stubborn child won't let us help him and was determined to keep up with Dominic and his friend Luke. Spent the rest of the day in front of the T.V. and lucky me, Damien let me have nice afternoon kip!

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Yay! It's Friday today and I'm leaving the office in exactly 40 minutes. Got so much to do today but looking forward to spending four days with the family. Will take loads of pics on Christmas Day to post. Dominic and Nathan are so excited. I just really wish that I could have Adam and Angela with us as well. Merry Christmas everyone!

My Man

So I thought I'd be really soppy and tell you about the man in my life! Naturally I think he's a real hunk. But I just really want to use this piece of 'webspace' to let him know just how special he is and how much I love him.

ADAM & ANGELA

Okay I thought I'd take this opportunity to tell you about my little brother and sister. Adam and Angela. They are the two most precious kids (alongside my own) in the world. Since they were two weeks old they have been a part of our family and they are much loved and adored. Dominic in particular has a special bond with them (more so with Adam as he's a boy!). Here they are on our recent trip to South Africa to visit them. They are dancing in the rain with Dominic. I've also attached a picture of Dominic and Adam.

SANTA CALLS!

Last night Damien called the home line from our bedroom. I was downstairs and answered the phone. I called Dominic telling him that Santa was on the phone! The poor child I thought he was going to wet himself. 'Hello Santa' he say's 'yes I've been very good and I want an alien for Christmas'. Dominic then drags Nathan to the phone so he can also tell Santa what a good boy he's been. If only I had my video camera with me.

Once we had tucked the boys up into bed Damien and I left the boys with the nanny and went to go look at some puppies. Staffordshire Bull Terriers. Very cute! We eventually chose a little boy and will be collecting him on Christmas eve. I can't wait to see the kids faces. We plan to hide the puppy in the conservatory and then wrap up a dog bowl and some dog food for the kids. I'll try and record it all and post it for you to view.

IT'S ANOTHER BOY!!!

Well I haven't written for a while. We had a bit of a scare with our little bump. Blood tests indicated possible down syndrome's. I had to have a CVS to determine if it did have anything wrong with it or not. What a gruelling two weeks that proved to be. In the end though Damien and I decided that regardless of what the result was we would keep our babe!

The tests came back all clear but did indicate that our little babe is another boy! Three boys can you believe it? Dominic and Nathan don't mind though. We're thinking of the names Joshua, Flynn or Roman. I'm just so grateful and thankful to God that our little babe appears to be okay.
