BABY JOSHUA

Well finally our beautiful baby boy made his grand appearance on Thursday 19th April at 11.06pm. He tips the scales at a whopping 9.9lbs (4.34kgs). 2 1/2 day labour I endured and all my grand ideas of having an epidural the minute the first bit of pain started were thwarted when the midwives were too busy to examine me and let me go on until I was about 6cm dilated and screaming for a gun to shoot myself. When the epidural did finally kick in I was a much happier person.

Needless to say Damien and I are both extremely tired and happy at the same time. Joshua is an amazing child and just so good. Don't want to jinx ourselves just yet as it's early days but in comparison to my other two squeelers he is a dream. Dominic and Nathan are indifferent to him. Interested one minute and then couldn't be bothered the next. Slight acting up and regressing from both of them but hopefully that will sort itself out in time.

ALMOST A FAMILY OF FIVE

Well as I predicted this baby is not coming early and as today is my due date I've given up all hope of going into labour naturally. Went for a scan last week to check his weight and the little boy already weights 4kg! I'm getting induced tomorrow night (Wed 18th) so hopefully on Thursday all going well little Joshua will finally meet his brothers. Not happy about being induced as I know what I'm in for. We've had such lovely weather the last two weeks reached 25 degrees yesterday. Dom and Nat love taking Jock for walks. Here's a picture of them in Duck Wood just opposite our house.
